• Your data is securely stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Frankfurt, Germany (EU).
• Verbleif uses Amazon S3 for file storage and Amazon CloudFront for fast and secure delivery within Europe.
• Transactional and notification emails are sent through AWS Simple Email Service (SES).
• Your data remains stored while your license is active. After your subscription ends, we delete your data within 6 months unless you request earlier deletion.

5. Do we collect data from publication visitors?

Yes. When your organization shares publications through Verbleif, we may collect limited technical information (e.g. IP address and timestamp) to ensure performance, security, and usage statistics.

6. Marketing

Verbleif may inform business users about news, updates, and product information. All marketing and service emails are sent through AWS SES. You may unsubscribe anytime via the link in our emails or by contacting us directly.

7. Your data protection rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:

• Right of access: to request copies of your personal data.
• Right to rectification: to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Right to erasure: to request deletion of your personal data under certain conditions.
